Annual Business Meeting of the AOA

The 2013 Annual AOA Business Meeting will be held July 16-21, 2013, in Chicago. The AOA Board of Trustees will convene Tuesday, July 16 through Thursday, July 18. The annual meeting of the AOA House of Delegates will convene Friday, July 19 through Sunday, July 21.

  • 2013 Official Call To Meeting
    The official call to meeting for the 2013 Annual Business Meeting was made March 29, 2013.
  • 2013 Official Divisional Delegate Count
    The official divisional groups delegate count as of May 1, 2013: A total of 548 delegates (including the 26 specialty affiliate delegates) are eligible to be certified to be seated at the 93rd Annual House of Delegates Meeting.
  • Proposed Amendments to the AOA Constitution
    As stated in the Bylaws of the American Osteopathic Association, Article XI, Amendments, Section 1- Bylaws: "... Upon receiving a copy of the amendment it shall be the duty of the Executive Director to cause it to be distributed... to each divisional and specialty society entitled to send voting representatives to the House of Delegates, posted on the AOA’s website, and printed published in The Journal of the American Osteopathic Association at least one month before the meeting. The Board of Trustees may revise the proposed amendment if necessary to secure conformity to this Constitution and Bylaws and shall then refer it to the House for final action not later than the day prior to the end of the meeting."
