The 19th National CME Sponsors Conference was held Jan. 4-6, 2013, at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, Ariz. The CME Sponsors Conference provides information on the latest requirements for maintaining the AOA Category 1 Sponsor status and helps the CME sponsor understand the latest directions of the Council on Continuing Medical Education in the evolution of the CME environment. 2013-2015 CME Cycle
The AOA’s new CME cycle began Jan. 1, 2013 and will run through Dec. 31, 2015. AOA policy states that each accredited CME sponsor must attend one conference within every CME cycle. If you or a representative is unable to attend the next conference you will have two more opportunities to attend in 2014 or 2015. Learn more about CME sponsor accreditation.
