American Osteopathic Association

Advancing the distinctive philosophy and practice of osteopathic medicine

Advocacy

The AOA continually works to expand the public policy impact of osteopathic medicine at the federal and state levels of government by engaging members in advocacy efforts. Through events like DO Day on Capitol Hill, town hall meetings and health policy forums, AOA members help strengthen the profession's influence with legislators and policy makers. The Grassroots Osteopathic Advocacy Link (GOAL) furthers that mission by providing tools you can use to educate policymakers about DOs and help shape the future of health care.
